There are several other buildings at the park including the Oval and Canadian Museum. The Oval, located on the north side of the park, was built in the mid-19th century to house the Burlington Brewing Company. This building was restored in 1998 and houses the Moncton Huts. The Canadian Museum was built in 1900 and houses the Library, Butterfly Gallery, and Skydiving Park. Monarch Park is part of the Kootenay Regional Park system.
